Obituary of Charles MOSS

Charles W. Moss, 84, passed away August 8, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on January 29, 1922 in Ottawa, IL to George and Alice (Halfpenny) Moss.Since 1993, Charles has shared a great life with a very dear and special companion, Marion C. Steffey of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Chuck's career began in Ottawa after high school doing 5 ½ years in the United States Air Corps during World War II; 15 years with White Motor Company and 24 years with Perfect Circle/Dana Corporation in Toledo, OH. Chuck was an avid golfer and sports fan and a member of Elks 2399, Eagles 4299 and the American Legion Post 81 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.Charles is survived by his children, Pam (Douglas) Vandergrift of Lambertville, MI, Ronald (Sarah) Moss of St. Petersburg, FL and Michelle Moss of Erie, MI; brother, Jack (Sharon) Moss of Elwood, IL; grandchildren, Kristin Vandergrift, Erin Vandergrift Round, Heather Bloomfield, Dawn Ralston, Gary Albritton and Star White; great grandchildren, Ethan Round, Tim Bailey, Ken Bailey and Logan Albritton.He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, who passed October 20, 1989; three brothers, Dan, Jim and Bob.A memorial service will be held Friday, August 11, 2006, 10:30 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
