Joanna Maria Jost, 80, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born and raised in Sweetwater, TX.Joanna moved to Long Beach, CA; where she began a modeling career in Southern California. Here she met and married Joseph Jost on July 31, 1948. Her family moved to Oregon in 1968. Joanna was one of the original co-owners of the Posey Patch in Jacksonville, OR; with Ruth McIntyre of Medford, OR; during the early 1970's. She moved to Arizona in 1986, where she continued to pursue her love of painting and the outdoors.Joanna is survived by two daughters, Melanie Jost Haden of Medford, OR; Kym Jost Palmer of Lake Havasu City, AZ; one son, Joseph Christopher Jost of Chattanooga, TN; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her devoted and loving partner, Richard C. Crosby of Lake Havasu City, AZ.Her positive and bright outlook on life will be greatly missed by her entire family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.No service is planned.
