Edwin Francis De Voe
August 30, 1949 - September 29, 2013
Edd is finally at peace and resting in the lords loving arms as he passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was born in Pomona California and has been a resident of Lake Havasu City for the last 31 yrs. The lake was one of his favorite places to be, where he loved to go boating and fishing. In 1976, he was hired by the navy to travel on one of their ships based out of Hawaii to teach air conditioning. Falling in love with Hawaii, he and his family continued to live there until 1982. He then moved to Lake Havasu City and opened Lake Havasu Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. He also taught an air conditioning class at Mohave Community College for a few years. In the 80's he was appointed Vice President of the Energy Task Force for Lake Havasu City and received several awards in this position. He was also an active member of the Eagles. He was a big kid at heart and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all. Edd is survived by daughters Julie Nottestad, Lisa Stienman (husband Ken), Cheryl Phillips (husband Gabe), Danny Pagliarello (husband Gary), & Laurie Knowles. He is also survived by his brother Jim Berryhill and sister-in-law Nelda, sister Dee Dee Blair, sister Linda Wilde, mother Marion Davis Kashuba, and eight grandchildren.
