Obituary of Herbert GUNTHER

Herbert Gunther, 73, passed away September 9, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Helmut and Anita (Wolgast) Gunther on December 25, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.Herbert married his best friend Lucille Nulph on September 8, 1962 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 13 years ago from West Chester, PA. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict under the direction of the United States Army. Herbert was an engineer for G.E. Space Division in King of Prussia, PA for 25 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed boating and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was a very active member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church in Lake Havasu.Herbert is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 44 years, Lucille; son, Eric (Tracey) Gunther of Pottstown, PA; daughter, Beth (Russ) Maserang-Maxwell of Lake Havasu and four grandchildren, Nicole Maserang, Eric Maserang, Giorgia Maxwell and Emily Gunther.Memorial services will be held Friday, September 15, 2006, 11:00 AM at 1st Southern Baptist Church.
