Doris Janice Rogers, 81, a 21 year resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ; died in her husbands arms, Friday, September 22, 2006, at Lake Hills Inn Nursing Home. She was born September 9, 1925, in Tiskilwa, IL; to Fred and Orie Smith. Janice and her husband Jack Rogers (deceased), moved to Lake Havasu City from Broken Arrow, OK. She was a long time resident of Kewanee and Galesburg, IL; during her first marriage to Robert Hallock (deceased). Janice was a member of the Eastern Star, where she served as Worthy Matron and was also a member of the Lake Havasu Gem and Mineral Society. Janice is survived by her loving husband Jerry P. Davis of 10 years, daughter Judy Lefler and her son Gary Hallock, brothers, Robert Smith, Freddie Smith, Arnold Smith, Van Smith, Jim Smith, Richard Smith, sisters, Mary Johnson, Wilma Wolfley, Dolly Hougas, Betty Allen, Alma Wiltfang, grandchildren, Charles Lefler, Kenny Lefler, Todd Hallock, Machele Cockriel and great grandchildren, Kennedy Cockriel, Jacksen Cockriel and Robbie Hallock. Janice has gone to a place where the streets are paved with gold.
