CHARLES ANDREW LUND JR.London Bridge Rotarian of the DecadeCharles A. Lund, 70 years old, long time resident of Lake Havasu City went home peacefully September 23, to be with the Lord. Chuck is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 24 years, along with 4 children, Charles A. Lund III, Elisa Watkins, Peter Lund, Nancy Campbell and 7 beautiful grandchildren.Chuck was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 16, 1936. Graduated from Hillsdale College and University of Detroit with a business degree and was enlisted in the U. S. Military.Chuck moved to Lake Havasu City in 1972 while working for Xerox Co.. He then purchased Sun Country Distribution in 1983.Chuck was deeply admired for his devotion to our community. He was a Eucharistic Minister and Reader for Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. As a past president, with 28 years perfect attendance, in the London Bridge Rotary Club, and held the honor of being the only member to receive the title of "Rotarian of the Decade". He will be deeply missed by family, friends and the community.Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday September 30, 2006 at 1:00 with a rosary being said at 12:30, with Father Michael Deptula officiating.
