Samuel J. Crowder, 68, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 12, 1938 in Gadsden, AL; to James and Edith (Jones) Crowder.Sam moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 3 ½ years ago from Pueblo West, CO. He worked as an electrician for Farmer Bros. Coffee in Seattle, WA; for 15 years and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.Sam is survived by his loving wife Sharon, sons, Alan and wife Debbie, Darren and wife Nancy, Ryan and wife Carolyn; brother, Philip Crowder, sisters, Peggy Herman, Jane Thomas, 7 grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and a host of friends.Sam was a member of The Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2791 Inca Dr; Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86406. A private prayer vigil will be held in his honor with Deacon Froemming officiating.In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make a contribution to his church memorial fund.
