Glenn Clarence Maddox, 80, of Needles, CA passed away peacefully at the home of his son in Lake Havasu City October 8, 2006 surrounded by his family. He was born in Yuma, AZ on October 24, 1925 to Glenn C. Maddox Sr. and Jean Marie Dubois Maddox.Glenn is survived by his children, Rick Maddox (Jennifer), Stephanie Mueller, Glenda Maddox (John Mangano) of Lake Havasu and Eric Maddox (Maria) of Upland, CA; brothers, Dennis "Lucky" Maddox; sisters, Dotti Beaston, Janet Perry and Arlene Holman (Bill); grandchildren, Scott, Clyde, Tammie, Brandy, Ricky, Toby, Lisa, Elise, Lena, David, Ryan, Michael, Karina and Oscar; twenty great grandchildren and another due in April. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Julia Dow and his extended family, the Elders of Lake Havasu City.He was preceded by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.Glenn served in the United States Navy from December 29, 1943 to April 23, 1946. He was proud of being a radar man. Glenn owned Five Star Trophies in Southern California and later in Needles, CA for over 35 years. He loved all sports, his favorites being horse racing and baseball. His passion in his younger years was umpiring baseball games and bowling. During his later years he enjoyed playing at the Casinos. His family has and continues to race boats, they have been a part of the Colorado River Area for over sixty years. He took great pride in his family.The family says "keep rolling the dice and enjoy your cigar.
