Obituary of Howard JONES

Howard Davis Jones, 79, passed away October 16, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on August 13, 1927 in Hollywood, CA to Fred and Katherine Jones.Howard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Crystal Irene Jones; son, Daniel; daughters, Diana and Lynda; sister, Janis Passentino; brother, Tom D. Jones; grandchildren, David, Crystal, Jason, Melissa, Paul, Amanda, Julie, Cheryl and Paul; great grandchildren, Bailey, Collin, Corbin and Tanner.He was preceded in death by his son, Mark D. Jones; 2 brother and 2 sisters.Howard served in the Marine Corp during World War II and in the Army in Korea where he distinguished himself and received a battlefield commission and the Bronze Star. He was a member of the VFW Post 9401. He was owner and operator of The Rainbow Ring Society Thrift Store and lived in Lake Havasu City for 15 years.Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Ford Richardson will officiate.
