Obituary of Lester MATCH

Lester Leonard Match Jr., 62, passed away October 17, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Lester Match Sr. and Elaine (Hale) Match on July 24, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT.Lester married his best friend Beth Cooper on October 15, 1963 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 9 years ago from Salt Lake City. He ran his own fabrication company by the name of Lofco Inc. in Salt Lake City for 23 years. Lester retired from the United States Navy. He was a member of the LDS Church, the D.A.V, and the American Legion.Lester is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Bethel "Beth" Match; daughters, Celeste Lorraine Match, Jennifer Lea Match, Dailyn Lorraine Match and Katelyn Michelle Match, all of Lake Havasu; mother, Elaine Match of Salt Lake City, UT; brothers, Marvin Match of Salt Lake City, UT and Allen Match of Allen, TX and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father, Lester; son, Lester Match III and sister, Ruth Elaine Harvey.A visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006, 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
