Christopher John Tank "Tankster" passed away September 2, 2015 at 29 years of age in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Arthur and Jeanne Tank in Lake Havasu City on April 2, 1986.
Christopher graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 2004. He loved hockey; he started playing hockey at the age of 6 at Stam's Roller rink in Lake Havasu City. He played for The Havasu Flames, Dust Devils and The Cyclones Travel Roller Hockey Team. Then he played for 3 different in-house and travel ice hockey teams in Las Vegas, NV until he was about 16. He went back to Lake Havasu to play on men's roller hockey teams. He worked for his father at Tank Fabricators. He loved skateboarding and hanging at the beach. His favorite NHL team was The Detroit Red Wings. His favorite NFL team was The Green Bay Packers.
He was a funny guy, quick with a joke and was known for his beautiful blue eyes and smile.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Art and Jeanne Tank of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister, Laura Tank of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Randall Tank (Tina) of Fon du Lac, WI and Mark Tank of Lake Havasu City, AZ. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufus and Olive Tank of Van Dyne, WI and Les, and Gwen Ford of Lake Havasu City, AZ.
No services will take place. There will be a private family gathering.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lake Havasu City Youth Hockey or to your local Youth Hockey.
