Remembering Al Seidschlaw will always bring a smile because of the twinkle in her eyes and her quick wit. Aging brought about issues Al despised but was forced to deal with. It was our pleasure to talk to her by phone just days before God called her home. One of the better days for her, Dianne called many family and friends who Al wanted to talk to. Thank you so much Dianne for that wonderful opportunity to share love and say goodbye.
Remembering Al Seidschlaw will always bring a smile…
Al was one of those hardworking "Rosie type" World War II ladies who had to be made of grit, guts, and fortitude. Small in stature, but mighty in gumption.
Al was a "Diamond in the rough" made softer through the trials and losses of her life
Al taught us a lot about herself by the way she lived her life in front of us, cherish the best, and forgive the rest. No masks or pretends… Al enjoyed…
The way she sat in the front row with her Bible, listening intently and soaking it all in. She always carried her Bible
How she loved her church and how very much her church loved her too
The way she watched Ray as he sang "The Lighthouse" …the church may have been full, but he sang it to her.
Our drives home from church and stories from her "California Days"
I will remember Al…that she found her Lord and Savior in her twilight years and often said she wished she had found Him much earlier in her life
I will remember the footprints Al left in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
Love always, Ray & Mari
