Evelyn C. Maxfield, 81, passed away November 2nd at Serenity Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Evelyn was the daughter of Clyde and Lillian Cunningham.She and her husband Raymond moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago, and were originally from the Chicago, IL area. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Kiwaniannes, and had been a librarian for the Public Libraries in Illinois and also Lake Havasu City, AZ.Evelyn is survived by her family, husband Ray and two daughters, Ellen A. Prentice of Arizona and Nancy Maxfield-Wilson of Minnesota; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and her son, Dale R. Maxfield.The love, wisdom, humor, selflessness, devotion, and grace she brought to the lives of her family will be greatly missed, and she will live forever in our hearts; she was the core of our family.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.Memories and condolences may be submitted to Evelyn's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
