Obituary of Linda SCHWEER

Linda Carol Schweer, 56, passed away November 6, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Curtis and Yvonne (Button) Brown on June 16, 1950 in Battle Creek, MI.Linda was an accomplished painter and amateur photographer. She enjoyed horseback riding with her dearest friend, Linda Peterson. Her proudest moment was becoming a grandmother. Following graduation from Long Beach State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Linda began a career as a mechanical engineer, a position she held for 17 years. After her career as a mechanical engineer, Linda began a second career as a school bus driver and trainer for the Gull Lake School District in Michigan, a job she held for 13 years. After moving to Havasu 3 ½ years ago, she became a driver for the Havasu Unified School District.Linda is survived by her best friend and beloved husband, James Schweer; son, George English of Burlington, NC; mother, Yvonne Brown of Battle Creek, MI; stepsons, William Shea of Charlotte, MI, Scott Shea of Berwick, PA and James Schweer Jr. of Battle Creek, MI; stepdaughters, Gayle Martin of Junction, KS and Lori Fountain of Lansing, MI; brother, Curtis Brown of Battle Creek, MI; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and her dearest friend, Linda Peterson of Prescott, AZ.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
