Obituary of Phyllis VANDERJAGT

Phyllis Mae VanderJagt, 78, passed away November 14, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Herman and Sadie (Stahl) Lulofs on August 1, 1928 in Muskegon, MI.Phyllis married her best friend, Floyd VanderJagt on June 21, 1951 and together they made Arizona their home 42 years ago from Coopersville, MI. They moved to Lake Havasu 36 years ago. She was one of the first nurses to work at Lake Havasu Community Hospital. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church. The most important thing to Phyllis was her family and her strong belief in Christ.Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Floyd; sons, Jim (Karen) of Lake Havasu, John (Cheryl) of Mesa, AZ, Paul (Karen) of Lake Havasu, Bill (Laurie) of Janesville, WI and Larry (Brandi) of Lake Havasu; brother, Marvin of Newport News, VA; sister, Ruth of Spring Lake, MI; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason and great grandson, Logan.Memorial services will be held Monday, November 20, 2006, 2:00 pm at Community Presbyterian Church.
