Obituary of Eurie RAISTY

Eurie M. Raisty, 93, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on June 16, 1913 in Morrison, IA; to Lemuel and Gertrude (Snow) Moyers.Eurie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ., 10 years ago from South Gate, CA. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America for 77 years. Eurie was also active with the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America, acting as the cookie chairman.Her favorite pastime was playing bridge and pinochle at the senior center.Eurie is survived by her daughters, Jean Bathurst and husband Jim of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Vernice Faye Daugherty and husband Dennis of San Rafael, CA; grandchildren James Bathurst, Joni Harroun, Richael Valles, John Raisty, Sean-Michael Daugherty, Catherine-Michelle Daugherty, great grandchildren, Teresa Bathurst, Erica and Nikki Valles (twins) Alexis Raisty, Kara Stewart and great great grandchildren, Carrera Stewart, Jasmine Stewart and Bryce Bathurst. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Vern D. Raisty in 1979, son William Earl Raisty in 2004 and daughter Loree Ann Crowther in1978.Visitation will be held will be held at Rose Hills Chapel in Whittier, CA; on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Rose Hills Chapel on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
