Obituary of Robert McAFEE

ROBERT RICHARD McAFEERobert Richard McAfee, 65, passed away November 19, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Robert and Esther (Buchanan) McAfee on August 7, 1941 in Thermopolis, Wyoming.After proudly serving in the U.S. Army, 1963 - 1965, he attended the University of Montana and graduated with a B.S and a Masters Degree. Robert married his sweetheart Susan Louis on April 27, 1965, and together they made Lake Havasu their home 25 years ago from Red Lodge, Montana, where he was a high school administrator. He was a Deputy Sheriff for Mohave County for 15 years. He was an avid golfer all his life.Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Susan; son, Robert Jack McAfee (Tracey) of Spring, Texas; daughter, Lani L. McGowan (Errol) of Lake Havasu City; brother, Dan McAfee (Anita) of San Diego, California and four grandchildren, Dillon Bracamonte, Meghan, Claire and Anna McAfee.Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006, 10:00 am at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.In lieu of flowers may be made in his name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr. Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86404.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
