ALICE MYRTLE STAPLETONAlice Myrtle Stapleton 91, passed away on November 19, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on January 28, 1915 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Henry W. Shannon and Bessie E. "Snyder".Alice was the owner of Stapleton's Bakery for 25 years in Westgrove, Pennsylvania. She moved to Lake Havasu City from Westgrove, Pennsylvania 16 years ago. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Alice was an artist of old masters. She made, repaired and collected antique dolls. She was very family oriented.Alice is survived by her loving family, daughters Linda S. Pino (Mario), Carol A. Herb (Robert); brothers Lloyd Shannon, Paul Shannon; granddaughter Christine M. Mahlstede (Rich); great granddaughters Shelby Lynn Mahlstede and Kinzie Shea Mahlstede.She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Stapleton and parents Henry W. and Bessie E. Shannon.Interment will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Middleton, Delaware.In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Alice's name to Hospice of Havasu, P O Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Alice's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
