JAMES DOCHERTYJames Docherty, 79, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on Friday November 24, 2006. Jim was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 7, 1927. He was the son of Anthony Docherty and Agnes MacKenzie.James served our country during WW II, in the United States Navy. He was employed as a Civil Engineer during his 30 year career working for cities including Melrose, Massachusetts, Arcadia, California and Lake Havasu City, Arizona.James is survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Angie Docherty; son Thomas Docherty of Redlands, California; daughters, Deborah Docherty of Corbett, Oregon, Jeanne Nestle of Tahoe Vista, California; grandsons, Brian Docherty of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Shaun Docherty of Redlands, California; and granddaughters, Serena Vigg and Evelyn Vigg of Corbett, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his brother William Docherty and sister Elizabeth Forrest.James was a beloved and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness and generosity.
