Obituary of Barbara McMACKIN

Barbara McMackin was born December 11, 1933 to Dorothy Gunter, Mother and Sam Gunter, Father, in the state of Maryland. She was raised by her Mother, Dorothy and James Shaw. She and her Husband, Earl McMackin were happily married January 21, 1950 for 56 years and lived in the state of California for many years and then moved to Washington for 9 years. They returned to the state of California and then moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ for approximately the last 4 years.Barbara worked as a bookkeeper at Standard Brands Paint Co. in California for 18 years whereupon she retired. Her and her husband then did some traveling to various places, like the national parks, Lake Havasu City, and Parker with her Son, Gary McMackin and his family.Barbara loved to fish, go to Las Vegas and camp and go boating with her family members. Barbara will be greatly missed by all that knew her.Barbara is survived by beloved Husband, Earl; sons, Gary McMackin and his wife Sharon and William McMackin; four grandchildren, Douglas, Paige and Kristina McMackin, all of Lake Havasu City and Daniel McMackin and his wife Lacy of California; step grandchildren, Rochelle Eagle, Shawn Wille and Melissa Wille, all of Arkansas; brother, William Gunter of California.Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2006, 2:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
