Obituary of Lois HELMICK

Lois J. Helmick, 82, passed away December 17, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Gustaf and Amelia (Swanz) Anderson on August 24, 1924 in Platte, SD.Lois married the love of her life, Farran Helmick on May 7, 1988 and together they made Arizona their home that same year from, Riverside, CA. They moved to Lake Havasu in 2000. She worked for Ladies Boutique Shop in Prescott, AZ for 4 years. Lois was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the Blue Army.Lois is survived by her beloved husband, Farran; son, Dale Qualm of Temecula, CA ; daughters, Jackie Fields of Choctaw, OK, Jeanne Lobel of Sparks, NV, Karen Hess of Casper, WY, Jerri Trent of Kingman, AZ and Becky Schneider of Carson City, NV; step-son, Michael Helmick of Fullerton, CA; step-daughters, Theresa Pogue OF Dalton, GA, Kristine Woodruff of Susanville, CA, Kathleen Conroy of California, Deborah Helmick of California, and Jacqueline Kozlowski of Connecticut; brothers, Wayne Anderson of Armour, SD and Robert Anderson of Sioux City, IA; sisters, Shirley Lentine of Scottsdale, AZ, Carole Simmons of Casper, WY and Delores Palmer of Delta, UT; 40 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2006, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be said at 7:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
