Marjorie V. Lane, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on July 2, 1918 in Oswego, KS., to Horace and Hester (Brooks) Trollope. Marjorie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ., 30 years ago from Omaha, Neb. She worked as a saleswoman for a dress shop in Lake Havasu City, AZ., for 3 years.Marjorie is survived by her loving husband Fred Lane, son Wayne Van Vliet and wife Linda of Nisswa, MN; daughter Carol McKenna of San Diego, CA; sister Betty Flora of Naples, FL; and grandchildren Brandon, Shawn, Brandy and Carly. She was preceded in death by her son Norman Van Vliet.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2007 at Community Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Bybee officiating.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
