Raymond A. (Bud) Merchant of Lake Havasu City, AZ died at 6:00 PM on December 22, 2006. He was born in Polo, IL on March 17, 1921 to Harry and Anna Merchant.Upon completion of grade school, he worked as a hired hand on a farm. In 1941 he joined the United States Navy. Upon his discharge in 1945, he worked in Freeport, IL.On October 27, 1946, he and Irene Engel were married. They had one child, Debra Kay. There are three grandchildren and one great granddaughter, all of Las Vegas, NV.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.Cremation rites were accorded.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
