Obituary of John LORSCHEIDER

John Henry Lorscheider, 72, passed away on December 23, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John and Nora (Reener) Lorscheider on March 26, 1934 in Springfield, IL.John married the love of his life, Darlene Pettigrew on June 20, 1972 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 26 years ago. He served under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean War. John was a self employed florist in Glendale, CA for 25 years. He belonged to the Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge.John is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Darlene; sons, Michael and Joey Lorscheider and three grandchildren.A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2006, 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral services at 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Gary Bowlin, a family friend, will officiate. The V.F.W. Post 9401 and the American Legion Post 81 will conduct military honors. Private interment services will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at a later date.The family has requested donations be made in John's name to any of the following organizations; Shriners Crippled Children Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or the BPO Elks of the USA, 2750 N.
