Obituary of David SPEER

David Lynn Speer, 65, passed away December 24, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Gerald and Rose (Priest) Speer on July 20, 1941 in Ann Arbor, MI.David moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago from Garden Grove, CA. He served proudly under the direction of the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1960. For 20 years, he was a self employed welder. David was a jack of all trades; he could do anything he set his mind to. His greatest passion was riding his Harley and spending time with his grandkids. David was a member of P.R.P.A. (Professional Race Pilot Association) and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).David is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Joan Speer; two sons, David Speer Jr. and Floyd Speer, both of Sterling Heights, MI; daughters, Shannon Jagoda of Rochester, MI, Colleen Gray, of Oxford, MI, Cynthia Tipton of Costa Mesa, CA and Christina Speer of Fontana, CA; brothers, Russell Speer of Ontario, CA, Gerald Speer of Iowa and Gregory Speer of Anaheim, CA; sisters, Kathleen Robson of Washington and Cynthia Pendlebury of Anaheim, CA; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.A celebration of David's life will take place Saturday, December 30, 2006, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
