Mary Ellen Wittman, 89, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 22, 1917 in Cameron, MO.Mary moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ., from Claremont, CA., in 1989. As a young girl she worked as a Keno runner for the Virginia Club in Reno, NV. Mary was a very talented artist, painting ceramic faces and murals and loved to garden. She was also an impeccable seamstress. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Society, a giver to the Rev. Schuller Church in California and a member of the Elks Lodge years ago.Mary is survived by her sister Peggy Ann DiBernardo of Palm Desert, CA., daughter-in-laws, Candice Maloney and Noni Mortenson, both of Lake Havasu City, AZ., 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. 4 nieces, 3 nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Patrick Maloney, Charles Wittman and Richard Mortensen, sons, Michael Maloney, Richard Mortensen, sisters, June Lerea Sproul, Virginia Lee Lyne and Roberta Mae Robb.A Scripture service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 8, 2007, with Father Mike Ashibuogwu officiating.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
