Myrtle Day, 69, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2007 in Sun City, AZ. She was born on April 16, 1937 in Georgetown GA., and was raised in the city of Dawson with brothers, Guy and Leon, Jr. Myrtle moved to California in 1966 and remained there until moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ., in 1987. She was employed at K-Mart and the local hospital. Her generosity touched and enriched the lives of so many around her, and her strength and spirit given openly and without reservation. She will live forever in the hearts of her loving family.Myrtle is survived by her son Charles Lindsey Jr., of Perry, FL; daughters Peggy Dennis and husband Dan, Deborah Lindsey both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Pamela Vincent and husband Dana of Oceanside, CA; brother Leon Day Jr., of Dawson, GA; grandchildren, Jordan, Jennifer, Joseph and wife Kasey, Jason, Joshua and wife Margaret, Logan and Daniel Jr., great grandchildren, Torenc and Daniel Shahateet, and Jessee Conn all of Lake Havasu City, AZ. A Celebration of Myrtle's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel, with Pastor Mark Runyon officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Peggy Dennis.
