Lois Jean Freeman Klaus, age 75 of Lake Havasu City, AZ, died on January 7, 2007, at Havasu Regional Hospital. Lois was born on May 12, 1931 in Detroit and was a graduate of Dominic High School in 1951. She later in life earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.Lois met Glenn at an U.S.O. dance in 1953 and married on October 02, 1954. Their love of children, traveling, family, and friends extended throughout their fifty-two year marriage. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, and six children, Kenneth, Mary, Karen, Sally, Jane, and Stephen, and in remembrance of her son, Robert Michael, who left this earth too soon. Her love of all (11) grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, James, Christopher, Devin, Bill, Steve, Aleshia, Zachary, Tony, and Jesse and her beautiful great-grandson , Hayden. Her loving sisters, Sally (Laughlin, NV), Mary Jo (Canton, MI) and her brother Eddie (Rochester Hills, MI). She found her love of quilting through the numerous friends and quilters in Lake Havasu City and Overgaard, AZ. The outpouring of love from the Havasu Stitchers and Snowbirds gave her many wonderful hours of pleasure and joy throughout her years of retirement. She traveled extensively with her family and husband to many wonderful places, her favorite being Alaska and Paris, France. Her love of Broadway show tunes, Frank Sinatra, and a great laugh with family and friends will be missed. The most important things in her life were her husband, family, her religion, and love of all the children in her life. The family of Lois Jean Klaus invite all to attend a rosary, funeral service and reception on January 11, 2007. The rosary will be at 10:30a.m, followed by the service and reception. This will be held at Our Lady of Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Drive, Lake Havasu, AZ The family request to make donation to Hospice of Havasu,(www.hospicehavasu.org) or at 365 Lake Havasu Avenue, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403, in lieu of flowers.
