Obituary of James D. Thomas

James D. Thomas (Jimmy), age 57, of Lake Havasu City passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015. Jimmy was born November 4, 1957 in Springfield, Illinois. He is the son of Albert Thomas and Barbara Corke. Jimmy enjoyed life; he loved spending time with people and joking with friends and family. He was known to be a perfectionist and very fashionable, he also loved to travel. Jimmy was an avid boxer throughout his life, he was both a trainer and participant of the sport. James was a Vietnam Veteran who served with the 82nd airborne. He was a stockbroker and avid chess player. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Barbara Corke, of Peoria, AZ. Two brothers, Michael L. Corke, of Peoria, AZ and Kevin E. Corke of Washington, D.C. Two sister, Janie Tinnon of Bullhead city, AZ and Kimberley Corke-James of Maricopa city, AZ. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
