Charles Edward Shepherd, 77, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on June 27, 1929 in Southgate, CA. Charles moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ., 28 years ago from Buena Park, CA. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam for 33 years, retiring as a Colonel. Charles was a member of the Eagles Aerie #4299. B.P.O.E. Lodge #2399, Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #81. Charles is survived by his wife, Janett Shepherd, son Robert C. Shepherd of Reno, NV; daughters, Debra J. Shepherd of Saluda, NC; Gloria L. Shepherd of Marietta, SC; step-son, Kim Stubbs of Boise, ID; step-daughters, Cheri Bathurst and Tammy Stearns both of Boise, ID; brother Ben Shepherd of Veneta, OR; sister Jean Shepherd of Roseburg, OR; 2 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren."Charles was a great family man, had a great sense of humor and loved his country very much".A Celebration of Charles's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Eagles Aerie #4299. 5161 Marlboro Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ.
