Elaine M. (Baca-Kramer) Coats 83, passed away on January 20, 2007, in Lake Havasu City AZ at her daughter's where she has lived for several years. Elaine was born to Maryanne & Walter Baca in Chicago, IL.on Oct 28 1923.Walter passed away when Elaine was just an infant. Maryanne married Fredrick Dale Kramer whom adopted Elaine as a small child. Elaine was married to Philip M. Coats on July 15, 1944 and had three children. Elaine loved all of her family, especially her Grandchildren whom gave her special memories she cherished throughout her life. She also felt a special bond with her sister's children.Elaine was a member of Our Lady of The Lake Church and attended masses regularly. This kind gentle woman was an avid collector of teddy bears, which could be seen throughout her home. None of her family will ever pass by a teddy bear with out thinking of her hugs and cuddles that made her family feel safe and loved.Elaine loved life and never met a stranger with whom she always had a smile or a kind word for. She always believed that if you could do something to help someone else you should never hesitate to jump in and help. Elaine was also the world's BEST hugger. Though she will be missed dearly, her family and friends all wish her never-ending peace.Elaine is survived by her beloved children, daughter Holly Coats & Son-In-Law Steven Whitman of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Philip M Coats & Daughter-In-Law Danielle Coats of Wheaton, IL; daughter Dawn Kosuth & Son-In-Law Paul Kosuth of Carbondale, IL; Daughter-In-Law Tracy Coats of Winfield IL; nieces Melinda G. Kosmoski, Barbara Peters; nephews Timothy Gallagher, Tommy Gallagher; brother in law Thomas Gallagher; grandchildren Cole Coats, Bonnie Coats, Sara Kosuth, Chance Coats, Connor Coats, Carly Coats, Robert Whitman, Kelley Whitman, Stephani Whitman and many, many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Baca, Maryanne Baca-Kramer, Fredrick Dale Kramer; her husband Philip M Coats, and her beloved sister Geraldine Gallagher.No services are planned.
