Obituary of Karin Albertson Hyatt

Karin Albertson Hyatt, 81, passed away on September 7, 2015. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Helena, Montana. Karin graduated from Oklahoma University in Norman, Oklahoma. She worked as a teacher in the Bonita Unified School District in Southern California and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. After Karin's retirement she and husband, Fred moved to Arizona in 1991. Karin was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Mercedes Albertson; husband of 43 years, Fred Dee Hyatt and brothers, Maurice and Philip. She is survived by the love of her life, Bob Visscher; brother, Richard Albertson; children, Denise & Larry, Debbie & Rodney and Tonie & Lee; grandchildren, Deanna & Daniel, Tamara & Jillian, Carly & Roman, Michelle, Tina, Jenny & Jay, and Ronnie & Lindsay; great grandchildren, Drayson, Damien, Alexa, Joshua, Jake, Robyn, Tori, Ashley, Samantha, Dylan, Johnathan, David and Jordan. She was an active member of the Lake Havasu community with memberships at the Elks Lodge, VFW, Legion, and the Eagles. She was a member of the Elks Yacht Club and hosted many fish fry's with the fishing club. She continued to use her teaching skills by creating a ceramic classroom in her garage. She was highlighted in the newspaper for her creative efforts. She made and donated blankets, scarves and hats for the veterans in Arizona. She was loved by everyone and enriched the lives of many. A Celebration of Life service for Karin will take place at the London Bridge Park, bungalow #5 (by the dog park) on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:00am.
