Obituary of Mary PRIEBE

Mary Evans Priebe, 88, passed away January 30, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born to Harry and Marie (Geiger) Evans on March 5, 1918 in Milwaukee, WI.Mary married the love of her life, Robert Priebe on October 6, 1940 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 20 years ago from Okauchee Lake, WI. Mary attained her bachelor's degree in nutrition from Downer College. She and Robert were the owners of Priebe Shoe Store in Milwaukee for over half of a century. She loved to sing and loved to watch the sunrises and sunsets. Mary was very dedicated to her best friend, her husband, Robert. They always stayed the best of friends.Mary leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert; sons, Todd (Carol) Priebe of Jackson, WI and Scott (Judy) Priebe of Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren, Robert, Michael, David, Debbie, Rick and Tricia and twelve great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Development office of Lawrence University, PO Box 599, Appleton, WI 54912.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
