Richard Alan Pryor, 75, passed away February 3, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John and Mildred (Tetley) Pryor on February 5, 1931 in Long Branch, NJ.Following graduation from Oregon State College in 1958, Richard went to work for the United States Forestry Service as a consultant. He served proudly under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean War. Richard is survived by his loving family, sons, Richard Pryor (Carla) of Blythe, CA, Gregory Pryor (Cyndee) of West Point, CA and Jonathan Pryor (Sheila) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter, Cynthia Blazinski of Lake Havasu City, AZ; step-son, Dennis Crawford of Pleasant Hill, CA; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren and his friend and former wife, Phyllis.Memorial services will be held Friday, February 23, 2007, 11:00 am at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Lan Blair. The VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 will conduct full military honors.Donations may be made to a charity of choice.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
