Obituary of Annie LEWIS

Annie Pauline Lewis, 85, passed away February 12, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Albert and Carrie (Thompson) Turner on August 25, 1921 in Paris, TN.She married her best friend on October 15, 1938. Annie supported her husband, Walter and traveled with him to many Air Force bases here in the United States and made two tours of duty to England with their daughter, Anita. She moved to Lake Havasu 2 years ago from Reno, NV to be close to her daughter. She worked for Travis Unified School District in Fairfield, CA as a cafeteria manager for 18 years. Annie liked going to the casinos and playing Bingo. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends for holiday meals.Annie leaves behind her loving family, daughter Anita Hummel of Lake Havasu and a step-sister, Ruth Fletcher.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter.Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 2:00 PM at Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
