Treva Marie Van Hook. Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 27, 1924 in Grand Junction, CO; to John and Icy Mays.Marie lived in Phoenix, AZ; from infancy to when she married her husband, Robert K. Van Hook, in 1943 and moved to California after WWII. They were married 52 years until his death in 1995. Marie is survived by her daughter, Regina Lee Spangler and husband Glen, son Robert Dean Van Hook, sister Margaritte Buzard, grandchildren, Jamie L. Hall and husband Mark, Glen A. Spangler and wife Holli and John R. Racobs. She also had four loving great grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Tatum and Daniel. Marie's life was dedicated to her family.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Words of comfort and inspirations will be expressed by Chaplain Katherine Kenney.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern Arizona Chapter, 225 Grove Ave., Suite B, Prescott, AZ; 86301.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
