Asa George Waymack Jr., 86, passed away March 24, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Asa Sr. and Myrtle (Hare) Waymack on February 17, 1921 in Macomb, IL.Asa served his country proudly under the direction of the United States Navy during World War II. Following that, he went to work for the United State Air Force for the Department of Defense as a mechanic at Edwards Air Force Base in California for 35 years. He was a member of the VFW.Asa is survived by his son, Michael Waymack of Santa Clarita, CA.He was preceded in death by his parents and his long-time companion, Arlene Stegall.Donations may be made in Asa's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
