LINDA MAE CARTER Linda Mae Carter (Wonder Woman) passed away October 20, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 72. She was born April 8, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to Richard Raymond Kauhn and Lucille Mae (Payrow). Linda was a member of the Elks, Eagles Auxiliary 512 Centralia. She was an Elketts, employed by B.P.O.E. 2399 as a restaurant cashier, a Catholic; she belonged to the card making group, "stamping up". She was a lifetime member of Ladies of Harley (H.O.G.) She enjoyed riding her own Harley Davidson which she rode for over 25 years, such memorable trips as riding the Alcan Highway to Alaska & another trip from Portland, OR to Portland, ME with memorable stops at Niagara Falls and Cooperstown, NY Baseball Hall of Fame, & New York City, returning via the Blueridge Parkway & Interstate 40 with stops in Nashville & Graceland, Memphis TN. She was always doing charitable work and she was always helping others by which you would always find her donating blood as one of her ways of helping. Her middle name could have been volunteer. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Don A. Carter of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Don T.L. Carter of Chehalis, WA; daughter Pamila L. Massingham of Eugene, OR; brother Dennis Kauhn; sisters Carol Cain of Yreka, CA and Claudia Merrill; three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son Aaron Everett "Hurricane" Carter. Services will be held at the Elks on November 2, 2013 from 11:00 AM through 2:00 PM. Donations can be made in Linda's name to the Steele Children's Research Hospital., 1501 N. Campbell Avenue, Suite 3301, P.O. Box 245073, Tucson, AZ 85724 and/or Hospice of Havasu.
