Adolph Christian Werner Jr., 90, passed away April 10, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Adolph Sr. and Louise Werner on December 2, 1916 in Milwaukee, WI.Adolph served proudly under the direction of the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a patent draftsman for Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee, WI for 45 years. Adolph was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis, the Food Pantry, Community Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of the Lake Havasu Gem and Mineral Society.He liked to go the clubs he was a member of, going to church, wood working, doing yard work and was an avid reader. He also liked to make jewelry, golfing, bowling and enjoyed classical music.Adolph is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Werner of Lake Havasu; son, Dean Werner of St. Charles, IL; daughters, Cindy (Dennis) Leiske of Burbank, CA and Sherry (Dennis) Shanks of Milwaukee, WI; step sons, Thomas (Pat) Lemke of Houston, TX and William Lemke of Waukesha, WI; step daughters, Patricia (Bud) Connell of Wisconsin and Cindy (Dan) Mackey of Spirit Lake, IA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at Community Presbyterian Church Friday, April 13, 2007, 2:00 PM. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor David Bybee.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Adolph's name to a charity of choice.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
