Helen Agnes Russell, 97, died peacefully on April 17, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Alexander and Ludovica (Iwanyshek) Hercza on March 26, 1910 in Jamesville, NY.Helen moved to Lake Havasu City in 2002 from Manlius, NY to be near her daughter. She attended Mount Olive Lutheran Church. When she was unable to be present at church, she would listen to the "Winds Through The Olive Trees", each Sunday.Helen is survived by her daughter Marion (Bob) Dietz of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandsons, Kirk Dietz of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Scanlon of Syracuse, NY and Patrick Scanlon of Tennessee. She has one great grandchild, Jennifer Scanlon of Syracuse, NY; several nieces and nephews; many friends, and her special caretakers, Sharon North and Brenda Wax of Lake Havasu City.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Scanlon and her husbands, Ewteky John Derduk and Gerald Russell and her twelve brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be in Manlius, NY at a later date with Reverend Diane Wheatly of Liverpool officiating.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
