Obituary of La Pearl CURLEE

La Verne Curlee, 87, was under hospice care of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and left us to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2007. She was born on September 30, 1919 in Drumright, OK. As a child, La Verne loved playing in the creek, sawing down trees and fishing. She was an excellent homemaker and loved raising her 3 children. They lived in California until retiring to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in the seventies. La Verne loved having her family around her, especially out on the water during summertime vacations. She also enjoyed spending time with her brother, Richard and sister-in-law Dorothy.La Verne was a loving mother to Kay West and husband Nick; John Richard Curlee; and Jerry Curlee and wife Chris; loving grandmother of Norman, John, Jill, Kristin, Lori and Julie; doting great grandmother of John, David, Cassie, Austin, Jacob, Caitlyn and Makenna; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.Condolence and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
