Obituary of Richard KANKELBORG

Richard Chris "Rick" Kankelborg Jr. passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007. He was born on July 16, 1955 in Tacoma, WA to Richard Chris Kankelborg and Wanda Glasgow.Rick is survived by his by his Father, Richard Kankelborg of Apple Valley, CA; Mother, Wanda Price and Step-Dad, Ron of Lake Havasu City. Rick also leaves his children, James Burke and Heidi of Omaha, NE, Jesse Burke and Beccy of Wellington, New Zealand, Jeff Burke and Nycole of Shasta City, CA; Grandchildren, Jacoby, Jade and Exie; Siblings, Kelley Burke of Huntington Beach, CA, Ronda Burke of Settlers Cove, CA and Wendy Burke of Lake Havasu City; Step-Siblings, Coral Hanson of Lake Havasu City and Ron Price of Salome, AZ and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins; his "Church" Family from Lakeview Community and his treasured ex-wife Maryann.Rick served proudly in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was very involved with the Men's Bible Group of Lakeview Community Church in Lake Havasu. He so appreciated their love and support.There is no funeral planned. There will be a celebration of Rick's life at a future date.We will all miss Rick and his warm, beautiful smile and we thank God for taking him home and releasing him from the pain he suffered.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's name to Lakeview Community Church Church Men's Bible Group, 1699 W.
