James Sanford Callahan, 74, passed away May 6, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to James and Willa (Vaughn) Callahan on August 29, 1932 in Wabanucka, OK.James moved to Lake Havasu 18 years ago from Rialto, CA. He worked for Stater Brothers as a meat cutter in San Bernardino, CA for 32 years. James was a member of the Elks Lodge.James is survived by his beloved wife, Myra Callahan; son, Michael Callahan of Lake Havasu; daughters, Anita Callahan of Oregon and LaVonne Klein of Lake Havasu; brother, Dean Callahan of Arizona; sisters, Loretta O'Neil of Texas and Wanita Parker of Idaho; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.Donations may be made in James' name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
