Obituary of Glenna Lillian Braman

GLENNA LILLIAN (OLBERT) MCCUNE; BRAMAN Glenna Braman, 94, passed away October 21, 2013 at her home in Lake Havasu City after a battle with cancer. Having survived breast cancer for 48 years cancer returned in June of this year. She was born February 2, 1919 in Maywood, Nebraska to Elmer and Lillian (Nelsen) Olbert. At age 4, her mother passed away and was then raised by her father and loving step-mother, Maren Envoldsen Olbert. Glenna was raised in Denver, CO, graduating in 1937 from North High School. While living in Rawlins, WY she met and married Lee McCune. They lived in NM, CO, and WY. Lee passed away in 1973. She then met and married Al Braman and they moved to Lake Havasu City in 1977. Glenna loved her family and friends, her ESA Sisters and "Stampin Up". She enjoyed bowling all of her life. Glenna is survived by her son Ken McCune (fiancée Candy Ritter) of Reno, NV; daughters Kay Evans of Casper, WY and Pat Konkel (Tracy) of Balko, OK; grandchildren Evan Evans (Jen) of Minden, NV, Michelle Cardenas (Dean) and Melissa Manville (Chris) both of Casper, WY and Chris Konkel of Norman, OK; 5 great-grandchildren, Colby and Corbin Kirk; C.J., Nick and Emily Manville all of Casper, WY; her sister Doty Grimes of El Paso, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Lee McCune of 32 years; second husband Al Braman of 8 years; brother Paul Olbert; sister June Cooper and son-in-law Jimmy Evans. Glenna will be missed by many. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at Lakeview Park Clubhouse, 550 London Bridge Road, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Internment will take place in the family plot at Highland Cemetery in Casper, WY.
