Kenneth Lafayette Wilkerson, 89, passed away May 17, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Garnie P. and Agnes Wilkerson on February 14, 1918 in Springfield, MO.At the age of 18, he went to work for San Gabriel Valley Water Co. in El Monte, CA, where he became General Superintendent. He was instrumental in developing an electronic water telemetering system, which is now being used world wide. At the age of 42, he received from the State of California a Doctorate of Water Degree, After an early retirement from San Gabriel Valley Water Co., he and his loving wife Dorothy moved to Lake Isabella, CA. Ten years later his beloved wife, Dorothy passed on. Kenneth moved to Lake Havasu in 1991. He loved to travel in his motor home, fish and golf.Kenneth is survived by his son, Ken of Lake Havasu; daughter, Carol Wright of Silverado, CA; brother, Don Wilkerson of Lake Havasu; sister, Ethlyne Wall of Davenport, WA; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.Donations may be made in Kenneth's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be sent to the family at. www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
