Obituary of Roland KECK

Roland Wayne Keck, 87, passed away June 3, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to William and Ida (Sale) Keck on June 4, 1919 in San Antonio, TX.Roland married his best friend Ruth Mae Harris on March 29, 1941 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 21 years ago from Sun Valley, CA. He was the owner of Keck's Power Sweeping in Los Angeles County, CA for 20 years. Prior to that, he worked in the newspaper for 25 years. Roland served under the direction of the United States Navy during World War II. He enjoyed playing cards and going to the casinos to play cards. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2399.Roland is survived by his beloved family, son, Ronald Keck of Lake Havasu; daughter, Nancy Nash of Lake Havasu; brother, Salby Keck of Nevada City, CA; three grandchildren, Dennis, Scott and Tim and seven great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth; brother, Wendell Keck and sister, Coramae Frost.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
