Rose Stella Calvi, 86, passed away June 4, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Frank and Mary (Passarella) Pecora on June 21, 1920 in Melrose Park, IL.Rose married her best friend, George Calvi on February 14, 1942 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 4 years ago from Delray Beach, FL. Rose was a manager for Gotlieb Hospital in Melrose Park for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Seniors Clubs.Rose leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, George; sons, George Calvi Jr. and Kenny Calvi, both of Lake Havasu; daughter, Marianne Calvi of St. Paul, MN; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Funeral services and interment will be held in Melrose Park, IL.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
