Obituary of Patricia RODGERS

Patricia Anne Rodgers, 74, passed away on June 11, 2007 at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Pat, as she was known to her friends, was born on July 23, 1932 in Urbana, IL; to William and Edith (Saathoff) Lynch.On June 18, 1954, Pat married Wayne Rodgers and in 1965 they moved their family from Champaign, IL; to live in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Pat was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi. She will be best remembered as a daycare provider for 50 years, caring for two generations of children. To many of the children, she was known as "Grandma Pat". She will miss all of her little darlings and will be missed by all. Pat will be in our hearts forever.Pat is survived by daughters, Karen Rodgers of Lomita, CA; Julie Thomas and husband Paul of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Lisa McKenzie and husband Clint of Evansville, IN; sons, Tim Rodgers wife Patty of Redding, CA; Greg Rodgers and wife Cindy of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brothers, William Lynch and wife Bev of Champaign, IL; John Lynch and wife Connie of Champaign, IL; and sister Barbara Leathers, also of Champaign, IL. Also surviving Pat are her precious grandchildren, Billie, Michael, Somer, Rachael, Nick, Jesse and Brett as well as her great grandchildren, Ashley Akyra, Austin and great grandson to be born in October. A memorial Mass will be said on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Mike Ashibuogwi officiating. A reception will follow at Holy Family Parish Center.In lieu of flowers, Pat's family has requested donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
