Obituary of George James Hickey

GEORGE JAMES HICKEY March 12, 1930 - October 23, 2013 George James Hickey of Lake Havasu City, 83 passed October 23, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in Jamaica Plain, MA to Margaret E. Hickey of Boston, MA and Nelson Hickey of Nova Scotia, (both deceased). His surviving family includes his wife Lois A. Hickey of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Paula Klein, daughter, of Attleboro, MA; George Hickey, son, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Ptaszek of Woonsocket, RI and Brian Land of Attleboro, MA; and one great grandchild Sophia Ptaszek. George served in the Army in 1947 as a Military Police Officer. He worked as a service manager for the Cadillac Automotive Industry for 30 years. He also worked in the Security Division of Texas Instruments for several years before moving to Lake Havasu City 31 years ago. A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Ave. Attleboro Falls, MA, on Friday November 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM .
