Charles Wayne Jones, 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 15, 1921 in Lawton, OK; to Edwin K. and Susie F. (Jacquess) Jones.Charles moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 16 years ago from San Diego, CA. He worked for Ace Hardware in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 10 years, pricing and receiving merchandise. Charles enjoyed completing home projects, wood working, sports, puzzles and drawing. He loved spending time with his family and friends and also loved animals and telling jokes. Charles was a member of the Baptist Church in Lawton, OK; and a life member of Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) Charles is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gladyce Jones, sons, Edwin Oliver of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Robert Merle of Corona, CA; William Charles of Blythe, CA; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edwin Merle.In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations be made in Charles's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
